October 23, 2007 Kossen Equipment Selected One of Mississippi's Top 40 Fastest Growing Businesses

Kossen Equipment was proud to be named in the Mississippi Business Journal's Fast40 for 2007. The Fast40 are Mississippi-based businesses which had the strongest growth over the last two years, both in terms of dollars and percentage. Kossen was honored alongside the 39 other honorees at a banquet at the Jackson Country Club on October 18. Kossen will be featured in the November 19 issue of the Mississippi Business Journal as part of the Fast 40 group.

Kossen Equipment ranked #9 out of the 40 businesses honored.

September 6, 2007 Kossen Equipment to host Open Houses October 4-5 in Louisiana and Alabama

Kossen Equipment is proud to sponsor two events in October to celebrate the opening and expansion of their facilities. Our location in Theodore, Alabama was recently expanded to provide more space for our service and rental divisions as well as additional warehouse space. In Louisiana, our Baton Rouge operation has moved to a brand-new 30,000 square foot facility in Geismar, Louisiana.

If you are a customer, a vendor, a partner, or just someone interested in learning more about generators for your home, business or industry, you're invited to attend. Both open houses will feature a catfish dinner and tours of the new facilities.

July 9, 2007 Kossen Equipment Moves into New Facilities in Geismar, LA

On Thursday and Friday, July 5th and 6th, Kossen's Southern Louisiana office moved into their new location. The new custom constructed building, located at 6122 Hwy 73 in Geismar, provides a great deal more office and warehouse space to support our continuing growth in the area. March 15, 2007 Construction Continues on Kossen Equipment's New Southern LA Facilities

Although a bit behind schedule due to weather delays, construction is proceeding at Kossen's newest facility. The site, located in Geismar, Louisiana, will serve the Southern, Louisiana market, replacing our current store in Baton Rouge. The much larger office, warehouse and grounds will allow us to improve customer service and meet increasing demands for Kossen Equipment's Products and services.





February 11, 2007 Kossen Equipment Named Kohler Distributor of the Year for 2006

Kossen Equipment, Inc. has been named Kohler Distributor of the Year for 2006.  This award was announced at the National Sales Meeting at Kohler, Wisconsin, February 11, 2007.  Kossen was selected from all the Kohler Distributors as being the most outstanding in representing the Kohler product.  Kossen has received this award two other times, in 1993 and 1996, and in 2005 was honored with a Special Distinction Award for their work during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Mick Sutherland, Power Systems Sales in Mobile, was honored as the National Top Salesman for 2006.  This is the first year an award of this type has been given.  Congratulations to Mick on this accomplishment.

August, 2006, Kossen Equipment Announces Construction of New Facilities in Baton Rouge

Kossen Equipment, Inc, one of the Southeast's largest distributors of emergency generators announces the construction of a new sales, service and rental facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This move is to establish a permanent location in the South Louisiana area, replacing a smaller facility and will add substantial service space with a storage yard. The new facility will provide over 30,000 square feet.

Kossen's Baton Rouge facility provides sales, rental and service support to customers in South and Central Louisiana. Kossen also has a location in Bossier City, Louisiana.

The Kossen Baton Rouge expansion is part of Kossen's commitment to infrastructure to meet customer demand in the region. "Our new Baton Rouge facility is an investment in a permanent location to meet the needs of our customers in South and Central Louisiana" said Tom Kossen, President of Kossen Equipment, Inc. " We have been in South Louisiana for two years and to meet the needs of our current and potential customers this new building was essential".

July 27, 2006 Kossen Equipment, Inc. Announces the Expansion of its Mobile Location

Kossen Equipment, Inc, one of the Southeast's largest distributors of emergency generators announces the expansion of its Mobile, Alabama facility. The current 25,000 sq ft location is being expanded with an additional 15,000 sq ft. This expansion will provide a total of 40,000 sq ft for offices, maintenance shop and parts and warehouse space, all to better meet the needs of Kossen's customers.

Kossen's Mobile facility provides sales, rental and service support to customers from the Pan Handle of Florida, Southern Alabama and Mississippi's coastal counties. This Kossen Mobile expansion comes only a year after this facility opened in its present location.

In addition Kossen has added a 1.5-acre storage lot to accommodate the companies extensive rental generator fleet, the largest rental fleet in Alabama and Mississippi.
